VENUE
The Beacon Centre is located just outside Exeter, Devon, surrounded by beautiful rolling hills. The centre itself is an old converted stable block and apple barn so it has lots of character.
In the centre there are 8 twin bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. There is a double room and one more twin and one single in the farmhouse adjacent to the centre. The rooms are all very comfortable.
The main studio is spacious and serene. It is centrally heated and has a new bamboo floor, ideal for yoga and meditation. The studio is equipped with blocks, straps and various bolsters produced by a local craftsman. They are available for purchase through the Centre or direct from Futon Pacifika.
The dining area is also the main communal area and is wonderfully light and airy yet cosy and homely! There are sofas, cushions and a woodburner as well as the dining area. There is also a conservatory adjoining which is great to sit in during the warmer months.
In the grounds there is a wooden hogan (the Sanctuary) for meditation use, either for small groups or individuals. This is open all the time and is a wonderful space to connect with nature and to enjoy some quiet time.
There are also lovely walks to be had nearby if you want to get out and about.
